Community Work Exchange

Tell us you are ready, pick a job you want, and set up your ride there and back.

Householders and local businesses can use Community Work Exchange to post ordinary paid jobs and find people with the skills to help. Independent service jobs use the Community Work Exchange. Work that is employment uses a payroll/employment lane, which is not yet available here.

Cleaning, organizing, meal prep, errands, pet help, yard work, painting/cleanup, moving help, assembly, and other ordinary community jobs. Licensed or regulated services are not ordinary jobs here.

Describe a job, agree on a price, and confirm when it’s done.

• Community side: a household or business has work, posts a job, and pays the agreed provider amount plus a separate, disclosed Coop fee. Independent service jobs use the Community Work Exchange. Work that is employment uses a payroll/employment lane, which is not yet available here.
• Worker side: a participant offers skills, chooses a job, gets ready and arranges a ride, does the work, and receives the full agreed provider amount.

Community members create opportunities. Participants choose work that fits their skills and availability.

• You never pay a fee to find work.
• You can say no to any job, with no penalty.
• We never hold your ID.
• Customers never see your personal support history.
